“I’m Melissa, founder of Transform Career Services. I started my career journey as an Administrator working with an international bank. At the time, I thought it was my ‘dream job’ and I was so excited to be offered a position. I then dabbled with a call centre with the Human Resources function. Fast forward a few months and I knew it wasn’t for me. I loved the people but I just couldn’t get excited about the work. I turned into the ultimate clockwatcher. Why did this happen? I put it down to lack of career guidance, zero research and not understanding my natural strengths. Over the next couple of years, I made several career changes in search of my ‘best fit’ career – and yes, I finally found it! A career that suits my personality, uses my signature strengths and is aligned with my core values and interests.

I believe I was born to help others who dare to find career success. I have a 20+ year background in Recruitment Management, Psychometric testing for recruitment, training and coaching along with extensive experience managing employee transitions.

I consult with individual clients in private practices to provide resume writing, interview preparation and career coaching services, as well as working with local organisations.”
